Política de cookies

This is a working draft that describes what the product actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be before launch.

What we set

• Session: keeps you signed in. The site cannot work without it.
• Language: remembers which of the four interface languages you chose.
• Referral: if you arrived through someone's invite link, their code is kept for 30 days so the invite can be credited when you sign up.
• Analytics (PostHog): only after you accept them in the banner. Browser storage remembers an anonymous visitor identifier; after sign-in, events are associated with your internal account ID. We measure page visits and product steps such as generation requests and download clicks. We do not send your email, document text or form contents. Session replay is disabled.

Your choice

The banner offers essential only or accept all. PostHog analytics does not initialize before a choice or when you choose essential only. Functional records for sessions, language, referrals and protected share access, along with your cookie preference, are separate. Your answer is stored in your own browser, not on our servers, so clearing your browser data asks again.

Use the cookie button at the bottom of the page to change your choice. Choosing essential only stops further analytics collection and clears the analytics identifier in this browser; it does not delete previously collected events.

Similar browser storage

This policy also covers localStorage and sessionStorage, alongside cookies.

• Cookie preference: `klipten_cookie_choice` stores your choice in localStorage. It has no automatic expiry; you can change your preference or clear your browser data.
• PostHog analytics records: after acceptance, browser storage holds visitor/session identifiers and technical information used to measure usage. Local storage records can remain until browser data is cleared; withdrawing analytics consent clears the analytics identifier. Session storage is cleared when the tab session ends. A record remembering that you declined analytics may remain.

Where analytics events are sent

We use PostHog EU Cloud; analytics events you consent to are sent to PostHog's EU region (Frankfurt). They include the page visited, event time, browser/device information, generation status, and download or plan-selection clicks. After sign-in, your internal account ID is also used. URL query parameters and fragments are removed before transmission; automatic form/content collection and session replay are disabled.

Clearing browser storage does not delete events already sent to PostHog. For requests concerning those events, contact hello@klipten.ai. Provider information: PostHog privacy policy.
