Privacy policy

This is a working draft that describes what the product actually does with data. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and must be before launch.

What we collect

• Your account: the email address you sign up with, your name if you give one, and the interface language you choose.
• What you create: the video links, topics, text and files you bring in, the transcripts and presentations made from them, and the files we generate.
• Billing: your plan, your credit balance and a record of each payment. Card details never reach our servers; the payment provider holds them.
• Technical: a salted hash of the address you signed up from, kept only to notice referral abuse, and ordinary server logs.

Why we hold it

We hold it to run the service you asked for: producing transcripts and presentations, keeping your files available for download, charging the right number of credits, and preventing abuse of the free tier and the referral programme.

Who else sees it

• Google (Gemini API) processes your source material to generate, summarise and translate content. We use the paid tier, under which Google does not use this content to improve its products.
• The transcript provider receives the video links you submit.
• Unsplash, Pexels and the image generation provider receive the image keywords or prompts, never your content.
• Supabase hosts the database and the files.
• PostHog EU Cloud (Frankfurt) processes page visits and product usage events only after you consent to analytics. After sign-in, events are linked to your internal account ID. We do not send your email address, form contents or document text to PostHog; session replay is disabled. You can change your choice using the cookie button at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing consent stops new measurement but does not automatically delete past events. Contact us at the address below for requests concerning your analytics data.
• The payment provider handles payments.
• Google Drive, only if you ask us to export a file there, and only for the files this app created.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your content to train models.

How long we keep it

Your account data stays while your account exists. Generated files are kept for the retention period of your plan. When you delete your account, the account, its presentations, transcripts and stored files are removed.

Your rights

You can download everything this account holds as a single file from Settings, and you can delete your account from the same page. Deletion cannot be undone.
